Step into the terrains of the mind, where emotion becomes landscape
Launched on World Mental Health Day, ‘In Bloom: An Emotional Topography’ is the latest artist residency at FRAMELESS. Created by Cem Hasimi with an immersive soundscape by Woody Cook, visitors can explore a digital world where emotions take physical form.
The residency will run until December, and entry is included with your FRAMELESS ticket when the Blank Canvas Gallery is open.
‘In Bloom: An Emotional Topography’ transforms inner worlds into sweeping, cinematic landscapes, morphing psychological states into terrains. Jagged cliffs for anxiety, muted valleys for depression, radiant meadows for joy – turning invisible emotions into places you can explore.
By merging terrain with portrait, Hasimi invites audiences to step inside landscapes of the mind, offering an intimate journey that makes invisible feelings visible and inner struggles tangible.
The experience is heightened by an original soundscape from Woody Cook. His specially composed frequencies are designed to evoke emotion and explore the relationship between sound and mental wellbeing.
Cem Hasimi, originally from Turkey, has a background in art direction where he has crafted compelling narratives for some of the world’s biggest brands.
Having previously exhibited at FRAMELESS and shown at leading galleries and digital spaces including The Saatchi Gallery, Outernet, W1 Curates and Time Square, he is continuously pushing the boundaries of digital art and storytelling with the aim of moving people emotionally through the transformative power of art.
His powerful visual artworks blend technology with raw emotion.
Woody Cook has established himself as a talented DJ and producer, known for bringing unmatched energy and creativity to his performances, including multiple standout sets at Glastonbury 2025.
Beyond music, Cook is a passionate advocate for mental health, using his platform to raise awareness, share his own experiences and challenge stigma.
